Outlook: This will mark the first matchup of the season for the Wizards and Mavericks, who are coming off of a 121-97 loss at New Jersey on Friday. Dallas is 14-11 and fourth in the Southwest Division. Nowitzki continues to produce at an All-Star level with 26.3 points and 9.1 rebounds a game; Kidd sets the table with 8.1 assists along with 9.6 points and 6.3 rebounds. But the Mavericks haven't gotten the results they had hoped for when they fired Avery Johnson and replaced him with Rick Carlisle. Washington was 2-0 against the Mavericks last season.- Mike Jones
