DALLAS (AP) - Dallas Mavericks forward Devean George needs arthroscopic surgery on his right knee for a cartilage injury.
George was injured in Wednesday's game with Portland.The Mavericks said a timetable for his return will be set after the surgery.
George has made 17 starts for Dallas this season and is averaging 3.4 points and 1.8 rebounds in 43 games.
