--G Jason Kidd moved into eighth place all-time for 3-pointers made by hitting one Saturday against Atlanta. Kidd passed Nick Van Exel, who made 1,528 in his career.
--F Dirk Nowitzki was the highest-ranking Maverick on The Sporting News' list of the top 50 NBA players. He checked in at No. 8, with the only other Dallas player being G Jason Kidd at No. 23.
