Dallas Mavericks Roster Report 2009-12-02ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Jason Kidd, Shooting guard Roddy Beaubois, Small forward Shawn Marion, Power forward Dirk Nowitzki, Center Erick Dampier. Bench -- Guard Jason Terry, Guard J.J. Barea, Center Drew Gooden, Forward James Singleton, Guard Quinton Ross, Forward Kris Humphries, Guard Matt Carroll.


--C Erick Dampier returned to the lineup Monday after missing eight games with an undisclosed medical condition. Dampier has declined discussing the issue, but the team's medical staff cleared him to play.

"We ran every test known to man and had the best doctors do what they needed to do," owner Mark Cuban said. "They passed him."

Dampier started and had three points and one rebound in 16 minutes.

--G Jason Kidd scored a season-high 22 points in 39 minutes to go with 11 assists, six rebounds, four steals and three blocks Monday. The double-double was his fourth of the season, with his previous high for points being 19. The game was the first of Kidd's career in which he had at least 20 points, 10 assists, five rebounds, three steals and three blocks. "He's a rock," coach Rick Carlisle said.

--F Dirk Nowitzki extended his streak of consecutive games with 20-plus points to 13. He finished Monday with 28 points, six rebounds and four assists in 40 minutes. Nowitzki's streak of consecutive games with a block ended at 12.


--F Josh Howard (sore ankle) is on the inactive list while rehabbing. No timetable has been set for his return.

--G Quinton Ross (back tightness) has missed the last four games.
